How long after our Wedding do we receive our photographs?
I have quite a quick turn around; my Wedding galleries are ready 2 weeks exactly from your date. They go online for you to proof before they are available in a password-protected gallery for all of your family & Friends to view. Your guests get a business card on the day with the information on how they can view your photographs to make it super simple for everyone.
How long do bridal shots take?
Bridal shots can take as little or as long as you would like. I suggest picking up to 20 formal family shots that you would like - I have a questionnaire which goes over all of these in detail, we fill this out together at your ‘3 months to go’ meeting- these shots take up to 30 minutes & then I steal you away from your guests for up to another 30 minutes to get some relaxed pictures of just the two of you.
Do you bring a helper with you?
I do indeed. I bring my Granny; if she is unavailable my mum will come along. My Granny is the best helper, she makes sure everyone is dressed properly & everything is sitting, as it should. She is a muckeriner (I just made that word up but there is no better word to describe her) She mucks straight into dressing flower girls, lacing up the Brides dress, straightening ties & she has even been known to hang the washing out if it’s needing done. I couldn’t get through a Wedding day without her.. or a Wedding Exhibition for that matter, here is a photograph of us from the Dundee Wedding Exhibition in August.

When do you take a break?
In short we don’t, you might see us grabbing a quick glass of water but we don’t sit down until you sit down to enjoy your meal. While you have your meal we will grab something to eat for our Tea also & then as soon as you are done we are back up & ready to capture more of your Special Day.
Do we have to feed you?
You do not have to feed us; we do not expect a meal and do not want you to pay extra for us to eat. Often a meal is provided & we are very grateful for this, we do prefer to eat away from your guests as I will grab my Macbook & start uploading some photographs from your day to back them up. This is also our wee ‘break’ where we reflect on the day, and make a plan for the evening so we do prefer to just nip off to the bar/restaurant & get something to eat fairly quickly.
Do you only shoot Weddings?
No, as much as I love weddings & capturing such a special day I couldn’t be without the newborn cuddles, laughter within a family session or the mess of a Cake/Paint smash. You’ll find lots of examples of my work on my website, & while most weekends are filled with Weddings I do shoot lots of other Sessions during the week.
