Ollie has just celebrated his Half Birthday; I asked his Mummy & Daddy last week if I could steal him for some photographs… perks of Auntie Lauren being a Photographer, right? Watch out Noah (Ollie’s Big Brother)… Auntie Lauren is coming for you next. I have had this idea in mind for a while, I wanted black and white and just your child’s face. There personality via expressions only.
This Session took around 20 minutes, and there were a few faces I knew I wanted to snap. Just like when you come for your session, you will know the faces you love your child making and you can tell me these so that we can capture them all within your 9. I just needed Ollie to co-operate and pull it out of the bag at his session, off course he never failed to disappoint!! SCORE!!!
The first was his smile; how could you not love that face? He is absolutely adorable even if I am a little biased you see Ollie is my big cousin’s little boy. I was lucky enough to grow up in a family, as close as can be, so those big cousins of mine are more like big brothers.
The second was his latest party trick; hands on the ears. Any time there is a loud noise or Ollie begins to cry (which is not very often) he pops those hands on his ears and it’s hilarious. So I knew I wanted to capture this within his 9 Photographs.
The third was a serious face; every child has a serious face and they are usually the cutest faces they pull. Just like everyone else Ollie can pull that face right out when required, and thankfully he did it during his Session. Any other face we captured was a bonus, as long as I had these three.
As Ollie is part of my family I had an extra helper in the way of my little brother Jamie, he sat next to Ollie as what we call a spotter. This is someone who sits beside Baby so they do not move, fall or start to crawl away for babies on the move. In the image below I captured Ollie as he stared at Jamie, probably thinking ‘what are we all doing here Jamie?’
These Sessions are soooooo important & that is why I am offering them at the moment. The photographs are taken in my home studio in Arbroath, You will choose your 9 favourites from between 15 and 20 photographs two weeks after your session with me. These 9 Photographs are put into one Digital File & one print sized 12” x 12” for you to take home & keep.
Don’t worry though, what if you fall in love with all the photographs? We have lots of options from individual prints, to print packages to digital collections. So you CAN have them all, And enjoy them all for years & years to come.
